Ingredients:
- Ayran – 1000 ml
- Falukorv/turkey – 400 g
- Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
- Potatoes – 4 pcs.
- Cucumber – 2 pcs.
- Green onions – 2 pcs.
- Dill – 6 sprigs
- Mustard – 2 tsp.
- Salt – to taste
🥣 Step-by-step cooking
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly, boil them with the skin until soft, let them cool, peel them and cut them into small cubes.
- Hard boil the eggs (10 minutes), let them cool, peel them and cut them into cubes.
- Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.
- Finely chop the green onions.
- Chop the dill and remove any hard stems.
- Cut the sausage into small, neat cubes.
- Mix the potatoes, eggs, sausage, cucumber, green onions and dill in a saucepan.
- Add 2 teaspoons of mustard, season with salt to taste and stir gently.
- Pour over very cold Ayran.
- Stir and ready to serve.
PS: Okroshka is especially good when it is well chilled.
